 12 filling stations with a monthly turnover of approx. 9.000 litres and about 90 vehicles modified to run with plant oil show the increasing importance of the locally available fuel plant oil. Local and sustainable supply chains offer a new source of income for farmers and have ecological and economical advantages. Due to the fact of high energy costs and the raised awareness concerning renewable energy, energetic self-reliance becomes more and more interesting and reasonable for communities, farmers, companies and privates.
